Quought for the day #02 – Susan Scott

I still remember that day. One of my mentors gave me Susan‘s book “Fierce Conversations” and while I knew that there was a reason that this book was given to me, I kept wondering – “But, I don’t want to have Fierce Conversations” 🙂 That was years ago and I have to say that – that book totally touched me and sort of shaped the way I handled conversations since I read the book. Although it is written for the CEOs, I think it is a required reading for everyone. Well, not everyone – only those who want to have any conversations with others 🙂

Optimist warning: Please read this quote VERY carefully. If you take it to heart, this may change your life forever

Susan’s Quought for the day

Given that, while no single conversation is guaranteed to change the trajectory of a career, a company, a relationship or a life, any single conversation can – what is the conversation that has your name on it?

Quought = Question that provokes thought. Questions are important. Thinking is important. Questions that make you think are very important!
